Feature Idea - The Text

Under the Spotlight (features based on which are in the spotlight or up and coming)

The Alice Band- January takes a curiouser and curiouser turn, as a fascination with Lewis Carroll's Alice tumbles into the spotlight. From Oscar de la Renta's "Mad hats" to Miu Miu's white gloves, everyones going mad for Alice. Tate liverpool's Alice-inspired exhibition gives fans the rare opportunity to see Carroll's own illustrations of his 1864 manuscript which were later replaced with John Tenniels's interpretations. With other artists that have based work on the magical novel such as Anna Gaskell, Peter Blake and many more its sure to be a wonderland of art.

This is a style model for my contents page, its pretty basic and very conventional. The features, edits and stories are listed under the titles, "On the Cover", "Elle Edits" or "features". I like this layout as its stlyish and easy to read and find what your lookinf for. The pictures around the outside are pictures from the contents of the magazine so they give you an idea of what is to come.

Feature Idea: "New Kids on the Block"

This is an idea for one of my pages, if i get the chance to do more than a front cover, a contense page and a center fold. "The new kids on the block" is a feature on fshionable people, each with their own style, on the street. I will at least 2 pictures of each person, each being a different shot to hiligh the best parts of their outfits.
the typograhy will be in black and use different sizes and fonts, so it is inkeeping with the style of the magazine.
I think this will be a good feature because the atrget audience will be able to relate to the models and get inspiration from what they are wearing.
